Magda began playing piano at the age of 5.

Eventually, she came to love playing the piano and was self-motivated to pursue a musical education.

She pursued a degree in music and began teaching.

After finishing her education at the University of Music in Lodz, Poland, she began teaching at the Public Music School. Immediately she was convinced that teaching music is perhaps the greatest way to continuously learn and improve her skills in piano. During this time she also developed management skills and took on leadership positions at the school as a chairman of the school board, deputy director, and later head of the piano section.

How the Suzuki and Doman Methods Changed Everything.

Learning the Suzuki Method was a milestone in Magda’s career as a teacher. It transformed her personal experience playing the piano and inspired her to learn more about the flexibility and boundless capacity of a child’s brain. For 10 years she was involved in creating and running the Polish Suzuki Association and she was the Polish representative for the Board of the European Suzuki Association. During this time Magda also created the vision for Talents Garden.

Magda completed courses at the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia to learn about the Doman Method. The greatest benefit of these courses was the confirmation of her belief in the importance and need to develop the vision of Talents Garden. She noticed and appreciated the knowledge and experience of Glenn Doman and his team, in developing brains of healthy and brain-injured children.

Musicality is Magda’s strength.

Her diverse musical interests and expertise include playing by ear, composing, singing solo and in a choir, running a vocal band, and playing in bands and ensembles of different genres (however, her favorites are classical, jazz, and gospel.) Up to this day, she is intentional about learning from the best in the industry. And every valuable thing she learns she brings back to her students — who are excelling far beyond what she could do at their age.

Magda has global experience.

Magda has called many cities and countries “home,” and as such has had many opportunities to play with incredible musicians from around the world, including Poland, England, Brazil, and the United States, as a collaborative pianist with choirs, singers, and other professional instrumentalists. One of whom was Edson Beltrami – a famous flutist from Brazil. Magda has recorded music for a Peruvian drummer and composer Diego Becerra. She is currently collaborating with families in Scotland, Australia, Mongolia, and the United States. After living in England for 3 years, and Brazil for 6 years, Magda moved to San Francisco, CA, USA and now happily resides with her husband and her beloved pets in Savannah, GA, USA.
